  • What pets am I allowed?

    The flats are pet-friendly however there are a few restrictions on what type, sizes and breeds can stay. As a general guide, small pets are ok, but medium and large ones may not be. Your rent will be slightly higher with a pet, this is to cover cleaning and general wear and tear.

  • Is there car parking?

    Yes, there are 61 parking spaces onsite in our secure car park which can be rented at an additional amount.

  • Do the flats have outdoor space?

    All the apartments have balconies and you will also be able to enjoy the residents private garden and the new communal square.

  • Do you have to pay to use the gym?

    No! The residents only onsite gym is one of the amenities at The Whitmore Collection, so all residents can use the gym at a time that suits them with no extra cost.

  • When will I be able to move in?

    The finishing touches are just being done to the Button Building and will be ready to welcome residents from September 2019.

    The Iron Lofts and Silverworks buildings will be coming in Autumn 2019.

  • Do the apartments come furnished?

    The apartments come with a  bespoke furniture collection, this is included in your rental agreement at no extra cost.

    There are a few apartments available unfurnished however if you’d prefer that.

  • What furniture comes with the apartments?

    Typically you’ll have a three-seater sofa, coffee table, media unit, dining table and dining chairs in the living/dining room.

    The bedroom(s) will have a king size bed with storage underneath, bedside tables, a chair, built-in wardrobes and a chest of drawers.

    This may differ slightly from apartment to apartment so be sure to ask your lettings consultant during the viewing.

  • Is there cycle storage?

    There is secure onsite cycle storage which is free for all residents on a first come first served basis.

  • Is there communal resident space?

    Yes, there is a residents only Clubhouse located in the Button Building, this includes the games room, gym, private dining room, cinema room, study area and residents lounge. There is fair-trade coffee and super-fast Wi-Fi in the Clubhouse so it’s great for catching up on work, entertaining friends or just to chill out.

  • Will there be resident events?

    Yes, there will be regular resident events from wine and cheese tasting, quiz nights and summer BBQs to book clubs and Yoga; something for everyone.

  • What other services will The Whitmore Collection offer?

    All residents will have access to the residents portal which will hold details and discounts for local services from personal trainers to housekeeping and even dog walking!

  • Will there be a concierge?

    There will be one of the Resident Services team on site located in the main reception in Silverworks.

    The exact timings are yet to be confirmed, but we’ll let you know when we know more!

  • Where is the concierge based?

    There will be one of the resident services team on hand to help you with any query you may have and they will be located in the main reception in Silverworks.

  • Will The Clubhouse be open to the public?

    The Clubhouse is for residents only, however, if you want to bring friends over that’s OK.

    There is also the opportunity to hire the private dining rooms and the cinema room for your exclusive use at a small charge.

  • What sort of contracts will be available?

    The Whitmore Collection offer flexible contracts anything from 6 months to 5 years, any point after 4 months you can give us 2 months notice to leave.

    The rent you pay will be reviewed each year in line with the Consumer Price Index, we will give you 6 weeks’ notices of a rent increase.

  • Is there an initial deposit?

    The Whitmore Collection ask for a dilapidation deposit of one month’s rent when you move in (The dilapidation deposit is refunded on condition of the property being returned in a good condition at the end of your tenancy).

  • Is there public transport accessible close by?

    Birmingham Grand New Street, Snow Hill and Jewellery Quarter railway stations are each just an 11 minute (or less) walk from us.

    There are several Metro stations close by and also a number of nearby bus stops with regular buses to surrounding areas.

We know you are leading a hectic life, so when you come back home we’re here whenever you need us – helping arrange everything from deliveries to residents’ events as well as coordinating maintenance and repairs.
