University of Birmingham have recently opened their doors to their new £55million sports centre, this includes the long awaited 50-meter Olympic length pool for swimmers to enjoy. As well as the pool, the centre has a gym, weights room, studios, sports hall and squash courts where you can enjoy a variety of sports.
If you’re a fan of cricket then look no further than the Edgbaston cricket ground, home to Warwickshire county cricket club and Birmingham Bears it is leading sports venue in the UK. In addition to cricket the ground offers facilities for conferences, banqueting, events, weddings or exhibitions and can cater for up to 800 people.
