Gay Pride

Birmingham’s Gay Pride takes places once a year at the end of May. 2016 was a big year for Birmingham’s Pride, seeing 75,000 spectators turn out for the event. Pride sees a collection of events including music, drag acts, comedy and a parade.

On Hurst Street, where Pride mainly takes place, you can find the main stage where celebrity acts come and perform. You also have a dance area where you can expect plenty of music and dancing. The Cabaret Marquee sees the biggest names in drag perform. The bars and clubs are open until late, with drinks deals and discount entries.
