Birmingham’s Gay Village and Chinese district has some of the best nightlife around. On Essex Street you have the biggest club in the Gay Village; The Nightingale. Its huge capacity of 2000 people across three floors always guarantees a good night. Missing and Village are other late night spots, both hosting drag acts and cabaret nights.

If you head over to the Arcadian you will be greeted with a selection of cocktail bars. Missoula bar has a happy hour where you can benefit from 2-4-1 cocktails. Pretty much all of the bars have outdoor seating areas, the Arcadian being a hidden little sunspot during those summer months.
