1st – 31st August
If you’re looking for an excuse to try somewhere new, Birmingham Restaurant Festival is the perfect opportunity. Throughout August, restaurants across the city will be offering exclusive set menus at great value, making it easy to experience some of Birmingham’s best dining spots for less.

10th – 16th August
Birmingham welcomes Europe’s biggest athletics stars to Alexander Stadium this August for seven days of world-class competition.
From sprinting and pole vault to long distance events, it’s a fantastic chance to experience elite sport right on your doorstep. Tickets start from just £10 for adults and £5 for under 16s. You can find more details about the European Athletics Championships here.

28th August
Looking for something a little different? Splash Art Republic in the Jewellery Quarter is hosting a relaxed Sip and Paint evening where you’ll create your own colourful Highland cow masterpiece.

29th – 31st August
Returning for the August Bank Holiday, Birmingham Weekender transforms the city centre with free performances, outdoor installations and interactive experiences.
