We are excited to share that FleetMilne has completed a deal to join Foxtons Group plc. This marks an important milestone for our business and a positive step forward for our existing and prospective customers.
FleetMilne is a leading, lettings-focused agency with a strong market share in Birmingham city centre. Joining Foxtons allows us to build on that position with the support of an industry-leading operating platform, while remaining firmly focused on delivering high-quality service at a local level.
Alongside our core lettings and property management services, FleetMilne will continue to support buyers and sellers in the residential sales market, which remains an important albeit much smaller, part of our business.
Nicola Fleet-Milne, Managing Director of FleetMilne, said:
“Having built FleetMilne over the past 20 years into a leading lettings business in central Birmingham, it was important to find a partner who shared our ambition for the market and our commitment to outstanding service. Foxtons is the right partner for the next stage of our journey, and I am genuinely excited about what we can achieve together.
Foxtons’ scale, technology and expertise will give us the tools to accelerate our growth in Birmingham and enhance the service we provide to landlords and tenants. I am looking forward to leading the business through this next chapter and unlocking the significant opportunities ahead.”
For landlords, this partnership strengthens FleetMilne’s ability to support long-term investment performance in a fast-growing rental market.
Birmingham continues to see significant residential development, including new homes and build-to-rent schemes, alongside improving connectivity with London. Backed by Foxtons’ operating platform, FleetMilne will be able to invest further in systems, data and processes that support consistent service delivery, strong compliance and sustainable growth.
Importantly, FleetMilne remains a lettings-led business, with the same local team managing properties day to day and maintaining close relationships with landlords.
For tenants, joining Foxtons supports a more efficient, transparent and well-resourced renting experience.
Improved technology and operational support will help streamline processes and communication, while our Birmingham-based team continues to manage homes locally and provide support throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
As demand for rental homes in central Birmingham continues to grow, our focus remains on matching tenants with well-managed properties and delivering a professional, responsive service.
FleetMilne’s directors will remain with the business post-acquisition, continuing to lead the next stage of growth under Foxtons’ ownership.
Guy Gittins, Chief Executive Officer of Foxtons, said:
“This is a significant move for Foxtons as we expand outside of the London commuter belt for the first time. Our successful acquisitions in London’s commuter towns have shown how our industry-leading platform can unlock value, making Birmingham – a major market with strong long-term potential, supported by extensive redevelopment and increasing connectivity with London – a natural next step.
With the Foxtons Operating Platform behind it, FleetMilne provides a strong foundation for organic growth and enables further bolt-on acquisitions as we build scale and deliver attractive returns.
FleetMilne has built an excellent reputation and is a natural fit for Foxtons as we continue to acquire high-performing lettings businesses. I look forward to welcoming the FleetMilne team into Foxtons.”
For our landlords and tenants, it is business as usual, with the added benefit of greater investment, capability and opportunity as we continue to grow in Birmingham.
